Honouring Process

An Iranian Haji once said that our lives are like great tapestries; the intricate patterns that mesmerise us only exist because of the dark spots and negative spaces which fall between the bright colours and highlights. Sometimes we dwell in these dark periods or try clinging to the bright ones. But when we step back and take it all in, we can see that it’s all necessary. We can be grateful for all of it, all of that which makes our lives so rich with experience, colour, and texture.
