Shedding Limbs

Like trees shed limbs and leaves, we lose people, places, things as we move through life. Sometimes it’s easy to get stuck focussing on the sense of loss, or on trying to avoid the vulnerability of being seen so deeply. But what if we see that newfound space as room for realignment and new growth? See the parts of our lives that fall and decay as added nutrients for the soil from which we continue to grow.
