We are all that we see
The light that blushes cheek,
colours dawning cloud,
grows new leaf.
The force that holds us in our seat,
pulls rain from cloud to sea.
The wind that fills our lungs,
blows seed, shapes mountain.
The water that runs ribbons over earth,
carries the blood through our veins,
draws nutrients through roots, fills fruits,
and stores most of our oxygen.
And the same Earth that cradles Ocean,
cradles us in our beds as we sleep each night.
May we see ourselves and the forces that govern us in each and every thing.
May we choose to see through all the reasons we’re told make us different.
Instead, choosing to see the threads that unite us.
For we are all that we see; there is no separation.
